Training for Internal Coaches

Cylient creates learning paths for internal coaches to meet the needs of your organization.  We will work with you to create and customize coach the coach training programs which will prepare your internal coaches to successfully support the integration of coaching capabilities into your organization. Our training programs prepare your internal coaches to:

• Coach others in acquiring coaching capabilities
• Provide coaching support for internal development initiatives
• Facilitate coaching skills workshops, and
• Conduct one-on-one coaching engagements 

Coach the Coach Workshops
We offer one-day coach the coach workshops for Coaching in the Moment™ and Leading with Insight® for Leaders and Managers.   These workshops enable internal coaches to support people who have taken the Coaching in the Moment™ and Leading with Insight® for Leaders and Managers workshops to more effectively integrate coaching approaches into their work.  Coach the Coach workshop participants become embedded resources within the organization and role models for taking a coaching approach. 
Participants in the Coach the Coach workshops learn how to:

• Recognize challenges often faced by people who are learning to use coaching skills
• Use coaching approaches to coach people who are learning coaching skills
• Apply core coaching concepts with greater facility
• Move others into meaningful action in order to deepen coaching capabilities

Coach the Coach Facilitator Training
We can prepare your coaches to deliver our Coaching in the Moment™ and Leading with Insight® for Leaders and Managers within your organization.  Successful completion of Leading with Insight® for Leaders and Managers is a prerequisite for this program.  Your coaches work directly with Cylient coaches to learn how to take a coaching approach to coaching skills training.

Participants in the Coach the Coach Facilitator Training learn how to:

• Engage others in learning core coaching skills
• Coach others to use coaching approaches effectively
• Deepen their coaching capabilities
• Role model coaching approaches inside and outside the classroom

Managing Coaching Engagements
This two-day workshop is the first of two workshops designed to prepare internal coaches, HR, OD and learning professionals to conduct successful long-term coaching engagements.  This workshop focuses on learning the approaches needed to establish and manage coaching engagements. Leading with Insight® for Leaders and Managers is a pre-requisite for this workshop.

Participants gain a deeper understanding of the coach’s role in guiding the development of others, and are able to:

• Design coaching engagements which expand potential, not just “fix” problems
• Understand how to write coaching goals that create engagement
• Apply coaching approaches over time to guide more complex development
• Manage coaching engagements, including the possible participation of managers and others

Coaching for Strategic Impact
This two-day workshop is the second of two workshops designed to prepare internal coaches, HR, OD and learning professionals to conduct successful long-term coaching engagements.  This workshop focuses on managing coaching relationships for various populations in the organization.   Managing Coaching Engagements workshop is a pre-requisite for this workshop. 

Participants in these advanced workshops expand their repertoire of coaching approaches and their confidence to use them at all levels of the organization.  Extensive skill practice and individual coaching from a Cylient coach support the application of new approaches in the work environment, enabling participants to:

• Understand the types of coaching challenges faced by different groups of clients
• Enhance their capabilities for addressing more complex coaching engagements
• Adapt their coaching styles to align with the requirements of different people
• More effectively keep people engaged in the coaching process
